Warehouse Manager

Position Overview

Reports To: Operations Manager

Position Summary:

To assist in achievement of the company’s strategic objective and annual goals through the delivery of exceptional service and support reflective of Chilly Ben’s Heating & Air Conditioning’s vision, mission, purpose, and values.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect deliveries for quality, quantity and accuracy and disburses to technician.

• Track inventory daily.

• Perform physical truck inventories twice a year.

• Perform physical truck inventory upon employee departure.

• Ensure all trucks have proper safety equipment (first aid kit, fire extinguishers, etc.).

• Process Return and Warranty product for credit/replacement with assigned vendors.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety hazard removal, and organization of warehouse.

• Promptly report any warehouse issues that may impact customer service levels.

• Reduce technicians down time by ensuring prompt deliveries.

• Train, coach, and mentor team members.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years inventory management experience preferred.

• Excellent verbal, written and public speaking communication skills including the ability to interact professionally within all levels of the organization.

• Possess a collaborative and customer-service focused work style.

• Willingness to pursue continued professional growth.

• Maintain confidentially on all private, sensitive, and proprietary business issues and concerns.

• Willing to continue training for personal growth as well as participating in the training of new employees.

• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and ensure company compliance.

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently bends, climbs, and reaches to stock and retrieve inventory items.

• Mobility required to attend weekly meetings.

• Regularly communicate verbal and written messages with others.

• Regularly lift 10-50lbs.

• Must have visual acuity.
